Now that I'm on my own during the day and I'll also have the nights I will definitely need to learn to sleep when Briar is sleeping, instead of putzing around the house or on the Internet. I'm sure after a couple of days of barely any sleep I'll learn fast but right now I'm a newbie mom ;-)
Tomorrow we will be taking him for his 2 month check up. I'm sure he is now at least 10 lbs, he is such a little butter ball which is great considering his weight at birth. I will post an update after the appointment.
Here is a link to some hightlights from last week.

Hey Linda,
How's the first day being a mom on your own? Love the photos of the little slugger. We'll have to pick a nice day when it's not to hot to take him for a walk (even if I'm supposed to be working....). Let me know if you need anything.

Hello Linda and Dan!
Congratulations on your first week as parents! You deserve a little pride I think. You guys look great. And Briar looks like the little boss he deserves to be. Love from all of us here in Kenora.

I am very happy for you both. Unfortunately I can't get to your pictures from work, but I'm definitely looking forward to meeting him. I'm glad your first week went well. It's a good sign that he's doing a 5 hour stretch every once in a while for sleeping at night...
