- After one miscarriage, being diagnosed with unexplained infertility and having tried numerous treatments our hearts turned to domestic adoption. We were homestudy approved in October '06 and have been waiting on a match since November '06. This is our amazing journey to parenthood. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We were matched on 7/13/07 and our son was forever in our arms on 7/23/07.

I have been following your story and just had to comment. I found your adoption blog through my daugher's blog. She and her husband have adopted from Russian and at the beginning of the year, a newborn domestically. Until the time my daughter and husband decided to stop with all the infertility drugs, etc, I was unaware there was so many families unable to have children of their own and have turned to adoption. What a wonder thing. The love and joy that I see in my daughter's eyes every time she looks at their children is priceless. So much love. And the love these two have brought to our family is awesome. Just wish they lived closer. But back to you and your husand. I want to express my sincere congrat's to both of you as I sit here with tears of joy in my eyes for you and your husband. He is precious. I will continue to follow your blogs and watch as Briar grows. Again, congrats!!!
