I went to lunch and shopping with Jill today, had a wonderful time! There were babies and toddlers everywhere and it didn't bother me at all. We went to Applebee's for lunch and there were at least 10 strollers lined up in the lobby and as we were waiting for our table I was thinking "OMG, that is going to be me one day! Parking my baby's stroller in the lobby while we have lunch". I can't wait for that day to come!
I did restrain myself from going into the baby stores, but as we walked by I did peek in and thought about buying something. However I want Dan and I to be together for the first item we buy for the baby. Korny, I know.
Also I noticed there was a play area for the kids at the mall (and it was packed) and all I could think of was "yuck, germs!" I'm totally going to have to buy stock in Purell! And get over some of my issues ;-) It will be so worth it though.

Linda and Dan,
I can't wait until you are "one of those". I'm very excited for you and am hoping you meet your baby soon. We had friends that got in the book and within six weeks were on the way to meeting their little boy. When that time comes for you, I wish you all the sleepless nights you can handle! ;-)
